Located in the Midlands (conveniently accessible from Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, and Birmingham), our client is at the forefront of renewable energy innovation. They are developing next-generation fuel cell technology poised to surpass existing alkaline fuel-cell solutions, placing them at the leading edge of their sector.
As part of their ongoing expansion, we are seeking a PCB Design Engineer with a proven track record in designing high-reliability, multi-layer power, analogue, and digital PCBs. In this role, you will be integral to their dynamic R&D team, working on diverse products from portable power devices to industrial power systems.
In this role, you will:
* Design intricate electronic products with a focus on complex PCBs.
* Engage in research and prototype new technologies and methods to enhance our products and processes.
Key Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in multi-layer PCB design.
* Proficiency in Altium Designer is preferred, though experience with other PCB design tools is also valued.
* Familiarity with PCB assembly build packs, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), fit-lists, pick and place files, and assembly drawings.
* Strong foundation in electronic engineering and circuit design.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
