About Us: Join the School of Clinical Medicine (SCM) HR Team, a dynamic and specialised group providing HR, recruitment, and clinical services to diverse departments and units within the SCM. We extend our support to the School of Biological Sciences, encompassing over 3200 colleagues, including 410 clinical professionals and 190 colleagues on CRUK/MRC legacy TUPE terms. Additionally, we cater to over 1000 visitors, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative work environment. Role Overview: As a Recruitment and HR Staff Hub Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering effective and efficient Recruitment and HR administrative support across departments and units within the Clinical School. You will work as part of the Staff Hub Team reporting to the Recruitment Adviser and supporting the Recruitment and HR Staff Hub Coordinators in daily HR, Recruitment and payroll administration. Your contribution will be integral to maintaining the high standards of service expected at SCM. You will provide guidance to managers and staff on recruitment and HR matters in line with best practice and the University's policies and procedures when they apply. You will be comfortable to advice on queries within the scope of your HR knowledge or will know when to escalate issues to other specialist team members. You will need to manage and prioritise your workload, performing these duties to the highest level of accuracy and professionalism. You will be able to prioritise your workload to meet tight deadlines and be able to communicate with people at different levels across the University. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in a similar HR or admin support role. Experience of working with multiple processes and working to tight regulations. Excellent organisational skills & ability to prioritise own workload. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Flexible approach demonstrating the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, confidentiality and integrity.
