We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Support Assistant to join a team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Liverpool. This full-time, temp-to-perm role offers a fantastic opportunity for a caring individual to help create a supportive and engaging environment for young people who need it most.
Responsibilities:
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them manage behaviour and engage positively in learning
* Assisting with classroom activities and implementing behaviour support plans
* Building positive relationships with students to promote social, emotional, and academic development
* Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to provide consistent and effective support
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a PRU, SEMH, or similar setting is highly desirable
* A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with students
* Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a safe and positive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
