If so, we’d love to hear from you We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioural Support Assistant to join a team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Liverpool. This full-time, temp-to-perm role offers a fantastic opportunity for a caring individual to help create a supportive and engaging environment for young people who need it most. Responsibilities: Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them manage behaviour and engage positively in learning Assisting with classroom activities and implementing behaviour support plans Building positive relationships with students to promote social, emotional, and academic development Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to provide consistent and effective support Requirements: Previous experience in a PRU, SEMH, or similar setting is highly desirable A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with students Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a safe and positive learning environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
