Description
* Mechanical & electrical maintenance of both static and mobile plant, including the coordination of maintenance activities
* Assist in the further development of our PPM to improve plant availability and productivity
* Work effectively with operations to coordinate maintenance and operational needs without compromising process efficiency/performance
* Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals
* Recommend changes in training, working practices and processes which will improve the business
* Work with our team to develop technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures
* Implementation and ongoing management of Agility (CMMS system) ensuring asset register and training are up to date
* Manage site buildings and facilities to ensure that they are maintained to a serviceable condition as required
Profile
* Mechanical engineering background
* Experience and understanding in electrical systems
* Self-management and proactiveness
* Good problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* A detailed and conscientious approach
* Ability to keep calm under pressure and when working towards deadlines
* Flexibility and adaptability with regards to working times to ensure that the site is kept operational
* Manual dexterity in awkward positions.
* The heavy lifting of tools and machine parts of up to 15kgs.
