Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Build and manage a world class Product Owner team to consistently define and ensure delivery of complex software platforms of varying size and duration.
2. Contribute and execute on an organization strategy.
3. Drive for consistency of process with a continuous improvement mindset in a high-pressure Agile (Scrum/SAFE) environment.
4. Actively participate in leadership of the Distribution engineering portfolio to ensure open and transparent feedback for the overall growth and success.
5. Quickly learn, internalize and develop a strong understanding of key priorities.
6. Provide day to day work direction for team members engaged in projects and delivery.
7. Facilitate and coach product owners on requirements estimate and work sizing.
8. Demonstrate mastery of intricacies and interactions within dynamic agile cultures and processes.
9. Drive a continuous learning culture to help guide continuous improvements.
10. Provide leadership on Lean/Agile principles and development practices.
11. Assist in the resolution of conflicting priorities through the proactive communication of requirements, timelines and stakeholders.
12. Operate as an engaged leader who serves as a subject matter and technical expert for assigned programs and development initiatives.
13. Combine the customer vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional specifications/user stories.
14. Work with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs.
15. Coordinate work of several parallel teams to deliver on higher level outcomes.
16. Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work.
17. Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, technology or engineering.
18. Assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
19. Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and construct and provide recommendations.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or similar with significant experience.

Technical Expertise:
1. Recognizes patterns and complexity in problems. Extracts decomposition algorithms, and strategically plans how to execute programs by understanding how best to decompose to expose/protect against risk.
2. Thorough knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles.
3. Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
4. Understanding of full stack platform concepts and technologies.
5. Good understanding of Platform Integration strategies by developing applications and frameworks.
6. Define product vision. Lay out product roadmap. Map current requirements to industry trends, analyze competition trends.
7. Demonstrate mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams. Demonstrate advanced understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles. Guide new teams to adopt Agile, troubleshoot adoption efforts, and guide continuous improvement.

1. Evangelizes new technology, predicts trends, and identifies new opportunities based on trends.
2. Creates a culture of customer focus and high performance to drive innovation. Creates and pitches value for the GE investor while balancing that with the sometimes competing value for the external customer.
