JOB TITLE: Data Administrator REPORTING TO: Reporting and Insight Team Manager BASED AT: Kingsway Distribution Centre, Rochdale (Office Based) MAIN JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking a Data Mining Administrator to join the Reporting and Insight team within the Group Profit and Asset Protection department. Reporting to the Reporting and Insight Team Manager and playing a key role in the smooth running of the department, whilst delivering high standards of service. We are seeking an organised and methodical individual who has strong attention to detail and is meticulous with data processing and analysis. Ideally you will have a strong understanding of Microsoft office, with the ability to deliver reporting at all levels and have excellent communication skills. Experience of SQL is advantageous but isn’t essential. You could be expected to carry out some analysis of transactions to spot trends and patterns. To carry out this position you will need to be an enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated team player. You will be mainly checking the integrity of data and information, your data management will involve collating and analysing, whilst dealing with various internal and external parties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO; Inputting and retrieval of data using various systems to produce Ad-Hoc reporting and carry out analysis of data To upload data to databases from excel sheets and export the results. Provide general support where required to Field based teams to assist with enquiries including reviewing of CCTV To complete any ad-hoc tasks within your current levels of responsibility as directed by the department Manager and senior team. Monitor refund activity, using software provided, in order to establish authenticity of refunds carried out Monitor excessive price overrides usage, investigating the causes and raise cases for investigation as necessary To compile and report any suspicious circumstances for further investigation To provide information for collation within Board Presentation reporting To upload data for audit figures reporting To monitor cash collections from stores and maintain contact via email/phone to ensure a smooth process and report daily on missed collections.
