How You’ll Make an Impact
Your work will be crucial in identifying and developing new opportunities, including crafting a long-term development road-map aimed at growing sales and driving growth. You will drive standardisation efforts in collaboration with internal collaborators, ensuring that our decarbonization products are harmonised and optimised for maximum impact. Your strategic vision and execution will help us compete successfully in the market and continually improve our product offerings.
Key objectives of the role:
* Drive innovation for customer value
* Commercialise new environmentally-friendly product developments
* Track and measure the return on investment for product value arguments
* Harmonise product offerings
* Contribute to the product road map for both current and future products
Your responsibilities will include:
* Full commercialisation of decarbonization products, including rules of sale, tender documentation, market pricing, development of DLAs & negotiation tables, product definition, sales training material, customer marketing, and publicity material
* Coordinating the commercial service product sponsor role for R&D projects and leading all aspects of the Product Improvement Process/Product Development Process
* Developing necessary analysis tools to further improve specified products, such as value proposition tools
* Supporting Sales and Tendering activities, and potentially leading complex projects related to your product
* Evaluating our service products against competitors and incorporating standard methodologies from both Siemens Energy and the industry.
* Engaging in sales development activities, including customer research, prospect identification, and lead qualification
* Supporting Sales Managers with initial sales prospects during the product release introductory period
* Identifying, developing, and delivering suitable SGT decarbonization commercial solutions
* Performing market analysis to understand customer net-zero goals, the impact of government regulations, and carbon tax developments
* Communicating SGT decarbonization opportunities within the business to support growth and R&D funding
What You Bring
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience in a relevant field
* Keen interest or proven experience in decarbonization and sustainability products
* Sales, technical, marketing, or business development experience, preferably within the gas turbine-related industry, with a proven track record in a similar or related role
* Advanced training in service product and GT products, commercial skills, and SAP training
