We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, supporting recovery, and maintaining the dignity and wellbeing of all patients under their care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely in line with hospital protocols and NMC guidelines.
Monitor patient progress, vital signs, and respond effectively to changes in condition.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, and social workers to deliver coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
Adhere to infection control, health & safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
Supervise and support junior staff, healthcare assistants, and student nurses as required.
Requirements:
Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
Minimum 6 months of recent experience in a hospital environment (required).
Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and healthcare regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Working Hours:
Full-time and part-time positions available.
Shift patterns may include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Rates are higher for critical RGN
