We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teacher to join our team at an alternate provision in Leeds. Role Overview: As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with diverse and complex needs. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of SEMH pupils. Creating a safe and nurturing environment where pupils feel valued and understood. Implementing strategies to manage challenging behavior effectively. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support. Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary. Requirements: Proven experience working with SEMH pupils and managing challenging behavior. Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by SEMH pupils. Team Teach training is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
