Attendance administrator HU8 Area of Hull £13.05 per hour 08.00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday Child work force DBS is required Responsible for managing and tracking employee or student attendance records, ensuring accurate data entry, analysing attendance patterns, communicating with individuals regarding absences, and implementing strategies to improve overall attendance levels within an organisation or school, often including tasks like contacting parents/guardians regarding student absences and maintaining compliance with relevant attendance policies. Key responsibilities of an attendance administrator may include: Data entry and record keeping: Accurately recording daily attendance data into a system, including reasons for absences and late arrivals. Attendance analysis: Regularly reviewing attendance reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern. Communication with stakeholders: Contacting employees or parents/guardians to inquire about absences, provide reminders about attendance policies, and discuss support options. Absence management: Following established procedures for reporting absences, documenting medical documentation, and managing excused/unexcused absences. Reporting and documentation: Generating attendance reports for management, including summaries of overall attendance rates, chronic absenteeism, and other key metrics. Compliance with policies: Ensuring adherence to company or school attendance policies, including reporting potential violations to relevant authorities. Intervention strategies: Collaborating with other departments to provide support to individuals with poor attendance, such as developing attendance improvement plans or coordinating with employee assistance programs.
