Are you a forward thinking pharmacy technician with a passion for digital transformation?
We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated senior pharmacy technician. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development, implementation, and optimisation of our new digital clinical system, that enhances medicines management, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
Hours per week: 37.5
Main duties of the job
The roles and the duties for this post include:
1. Supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of electronic prescribing and medicines administration (EPMA) systems and other pharmacy-related digital tools.
2. To work alongside the principal and pharmacists for DCS to develop, implement and monitor standards for EPMA.
3. Develop close working relationships with other members of the DCS or multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the safe and effective running of the DCS.
4. Providing training and support to pharmacy and clinical staff on digital systems to ensure safe and effective use.
5. Analysing data and system reports to identify areas for improvement and support service development.
6. Troubleshooting system issues and liaising with IT and external suppliers to resolve technical problems.

* BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences (or equivalent)
* ACT qualification

* Experience using digital clinical systems
* Acute hospital experience
