Operations Manager Our Role As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for a large team of resources. These resources could include a blend of DLO and sub-contractors. You will provide operational management ensuring that the work is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to our Clients expectations. In addition to Health and Safety, customer service is critical. You will ensure that work is carried out in a manner which meets or exceeds customer expectations and adopts a right first time approach. Key Responsibilities We are looking for someone to: Ensure all work within the contract under your control is carried out in full compliance with health, safety, welfare and environmental regulations Proactively manage behaviours to influence improved ratings from customers; understanding any low performance ratings and sharing best practice with everyone Visit customers where low satisfaction ratings have been given or to resolve complex complaints and issues directly with them E nsure compliance with the clients technical standards and specifications as well as the Network Plus standards of service and quality systems E nsure that the health and safety competence of any sub-contractors, employed and direct labour are assessed prior to commencing work Assess the risk associated with our operations and ensure that the correct site-specific method statements and risk assessments are completed and in place for all types of work on the contract O versee all resources - labour, materials and plant - ensuring that adequate resource levels are maintained to meet the clients needs M anage the operational resources deployed on this contract, including sub-contractors, and motivate where appropriate D emand safety and competence, including training requirements, pushing for improvement across all teams Experience and Qualifications Health & Safety qualification an advantage Relevant qualifications and authorisations Experience of working in Utilities Supervisor Street works qualification Deep Excavation knowledge and experience Good verbal communication skills Good management skills Financial and commercial awareness Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word Full UK Driving Licence Network Plus at a Glance Network Plus is an award-winning business delivering essential utility and infrastructure services for the UKs major providers of gas, power, telecoms, transport, water, and wastewater.
