Medical and Wellbeing Officer
22 hours a week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
Part time, working Tuesday and Thursday, plus one other day, 8.30am-4.30pm
Actual: £17,832 - £19,007 (FTE:£33,625 - £35,840)

We are seeking an approachable and effective Medical and Wellbeing Officer to provide medical support for students, staff and visitors to George Abbot School. The successful applicant should have some first aid training, however, training can be provided. The role includes:
• responding to medical emergencies, administering medication and being responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the school’s medical policy and procedures.
• ensuring all appropriate risk assessments and medical plans are in place for agreed students in liaison with co-Medical Officer.
• adhering to all safeguarding and Health & Safety processes as set out in school policy.
• providing accurate and compliant information for all staff to effectively support the health and wellbeing of students.
