As a Occupational Therapist Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, guiding the multidisciplinary team (MDT), and shaping service development. The role covers a 7 day service, however we can offer full time or part time hours to suit your needs. What We’re Looking For Registered Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in inpatient therapy settings. Leadership and management skills within a healthcare environment. Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a wider multidisciplinary team. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive information. Main duties of the job The Team Lead Occupational Therapist will provide both clinical leadership and operational oversight for the therapy team within the unit. This role will involve supporting the therapy team to provide person-centred care to service users with complex needs, using specialist occupational therapy skills to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions and plan complex discharges. You will also lead on person-centred care planning and ensure the team's adherence to best practices, including quality and governance frameworks. In addition to clinical duties, you will have operational responsibilities such as management, recruitment, staff supervision, and service improvement initiatives. Why Join Us?
