An excellent Senior Project Manager opportunity within a reputable large civil engineering contractor.
The Role
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a variety of civil engineering projects valued between £5 million and £10 million. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive project management experience, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders effectively, and comes with the following responsibilities:
* To Lead and manage project teams to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* To be the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any issues that arise.
* Development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
* To identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project delivery.
* To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Monitoring of project budgets, forecast financial performance, and implement cost control measures.
* To mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Provision of regular project updates and reports.
Experience required
A number of years of experience in project management within the civil engineering sector, with a proven track record of delivering projects in the £5m to £10m range, is essential.
