Job Description:
ASR Group is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, with an annual production capacity of more than 6 million tons of sugar. The company produces a full line of grocery, industrial, food service and specialty sweetener products.
We are seeking a National Account Manager or Commercial Manager to join the team to grow our relationship with Brakes & Bidfood. These are our two largest distributors, giving the successful candidate excellent exposure within the business for career development. This will be across both Branded & Private Label products.
The Role:
* Responsible for managing & growing a portfolio of leading Foodservice Distributors (Bidfood and Brakes) and key End Users
* Execute the agreed sales strategy
* To develop, drive, own and implement channel and key customer plans
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with existing and non trading customers
* Conduct sales negotiations with customers having responsibility for agreeing planned volume, price targets etc.
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in designated customer portfolio
The Person:
* Proven track record of growing and delivering on Major Retail customers
* Preferably a “commodity” type product experience
* Proven success with selling NPD / product and range launches to customers
* Sales, Negotiation, Business Planning, Forecasting and Category Management
* Autonomous, flexible and driven
* Strategic Thinker combined with Analytical capability
