The Community and School Aged Immunisation Service is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Clinical Lead. The Clinical Lead will need to be a registered healthcare professional able to administer vaccines under a Patient Group Directive.
Proposed interview dates: 12th and 13th December 2024
Ensure the Immunisation service is effective, efficient and safe by supporting the improvement in the capability of the staff and their practice.
Ensure best practice is built into Immunisation service delivery models.
Support service audits and highlight areas for improvement.
Deliver annual immunisation updates to Practice Nurse immunisers according to the RCN/PHE National Immunisation Training Standard Guidelines.
Deliver immunisation updates to HCT CSAIS, as required.
Support an effective student programme.
Ensure the National Immunisation Service is available to the eligible cohort.
Ensure immunisation projects achieve outstanding uptake.
Implement prudent financial decisions, including being an authorised signatory.
