Technical Sales Engineer, Letchworth. £26,000 Basic + great opportunities to progress
Our client is a secure, stable, and successful manufacturer of power transmission products, supplying a diverse range of end-users, including OEMs, waste recyclers, and power generation companies. We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Technical Sales Executive to join the team in Letchworth.
What you'll be doing:
This is a varied and exciting role where you will manage a portfolio of existing accounts and maximise revenue generation. You will be the driving force behind sales growth, utilising a range of techniques, including:
* Handling up to twenty inbound enquiries every day and servicing their needs.
* Proactively contacting customers, building relationships, and securing orders.
* Leveraging platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube to build your network and identify new opportunities.
* Nurturing relationships with specialist trade distributors, ensuring their needs are met and maximising sales potential.
What you'll need:
* Sales experience, ideally within an engineering or industrial setting, with a proven track record of B2B sales.
* A genuine interest in how products are made and a desire to learn about power transmission solutions.
* The ability to research, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
* A confident and persuasive telephone manner, with strong written and verbal communication.
* Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets, with a "can-do" attitude.
