Service Technician / Hydraulics Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer required to join a leading provider of hydraulics in the Northeast. The Successful Service Technician / Hydraulics Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various industrial hydraulic systems in the workshop near Sunderland and at customer sites in surrounding areas. The Service Technician / Hydraulics Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer will have a strong electromechanical engineering background in hydraulics, pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, generators, hydraulic power units, filtration units, pipework, and or similar industrial electromechanical engineering products or systems. Package Circa £30,000 - £40,000 Use of company van Overtime Overtime Additional benefits Service Technician / Hydraulics Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer Role Will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various industrial hydraulic systems in the workshop near Sunderland and at customer sites in surrounding areas. The Hydraulic Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of industrial hydraulic systems including pumps, motors, valves, electronic control systems, hydraulic power units, valves, manifolds and more. Maintain, repair and install equipment in the workshop near Sunderland and at customer sites in surrounding areas. Installing hydraulic products into all forms of the manufacturing industry. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various hydraulic equipment. Liaise with various engineering departments. Service Technician / Hydraulics Engineer / Electromechanical Engineer Requirements Proven diagnostic skills on complicated hydraulic systems. Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro Mechanical Engineer or similar in Hydraulics. Experience fault finding, and fault diagnosis on electromechanical systems Experience of PLC programming would be advantageous Assist in the workshop being involved in the strip-down, inspection and reporting and re-build of hydraulic repairs when required. An electromechanical engineering background in hydraulics, pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, generators, hydraulic power units, filtration units, pipework, and or similar industrial electromechanical engineering products or systems. An electrical engineering qualification would be advantageous, i.e. HND, HNC, NVQ, 18th Edition or similar. Willingness to commute to the workshop near Sunderland. ADZN1_UKTJ
