Your role as Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager:
Our client is a well-respected and growing accountancy firm that values collaboration and innovation. As an Assistant Manager in the Corporate Services Team, you will:
* Lead audits for clients with turnovers ranging from £10-20 million and beyond, managing planning, fieldwork, and completion.
* Work directly with clients to understand their financial and business processes, providing tailored advice.
* Support and mentor junior staff, fostering their development and ensuring high standards of work.
* Take responsibility for reviewing working papers and preparing files for senior review, maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy.
* Be actively involved in a diverse range of assignments, including group reorganisations, consolidations, and management accounts.
What you'll need to succeed as Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager:
* ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102 and FRS 102 1a) and auditing standards (ISAs).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and mentor others.
* Confidence in interacting with clients and explaining complex financial matters clearly.
* A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure.
