Role This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, the internal tech team, and relevant third parties to manage projects from inception to implementation. The primary focus will be on product/inventory, contracting, pricing, and contact centre sales related projects across the organization. Initially, the project involves working closely with data engineers, a third-party technology provider, the project manager for integrations, and a product owner. Excellent stakeholder management is essential for success in this role. Success will be measured by successful implementations, effective management of expectations, and adherence to project budgets. While ideally, this is a hybrid role (office-based Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), it can be performed remotely, with the expectation of regular travel to Brighton, especially at key project stages. Please note this role is part-time 4 days per week. Requirements Who we are looking for The ideal candidate will be a technically skilled project manager with a proven track record in overseeing third parties, internal stakeholders, and business processes. They will appreciate the significance of establishing a strong foundation while also being passionate about stakeholder collaboration. They will likely have a background in successfully delivering programs that rely on external partnerships. Responsibilities ● Process Automation: deliver a process automation project that is already underway. ● Financial and Strategic Planning: Take a lead role in creating comprehensive business cases to justify IT capital expenditure on technology initiatives, ensuring that proposals are backed by thorough cost/benefit analyses. ● Stakeholder Management and Project Approval: Act as a liaison between key stakeholders across the organization, working closely with the Product Owner and CIO. ● Project Oversight and Communication: Take charge of all project-related meetings, meticulously maintaining project documentation and providing regular updates to all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned. ● Reporting to Senior Management: Prepare and deliver concise, informative project updates that are appropriate for all stakeholders. ● Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with 3rd parties and internal software developers to ensure that business requirements are fully understood. ● Change Management and Process Optimization: Oversee the business transition when new solutions are implemented, particularly those that affect existing processes. ● Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and highlight potential project risks and issues, and take the lead in driving their resolution. ● Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong working relationships across all departments within the organization.
