Looking for a pool of candidates for 2025, when we look for 12 Trainee AV Techs. This is a 10-week course based in Uxbridge (UB8 2LS), and upon completion, you would be assigned a venue in London that you will be based at full-time.
Please note that once you are placed in a venue, the role involves some unsociable hours, weekend work, etc.

Position Overview
We are looking to create a pool of potential candidates to fill 12 Audio-Visual Trainee positions, who will undertake a 10-week training scheme in 2025. Training will cover 4 main themes:
* Audio setup and operation
* Video and projection system setup and operation
* Lighting setup and operation
* Customer Service training
After the intensive training is completed, you will be placed at one of our central London locations where you will continue to learn the requirements of the role on the job, supported by our fantastic venue teams and learning partners.
As an AV Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting with the setup and operation of audio, lighting, and video equipment at a range of corporate events. You will work closely with experienced Trainers to learn how to install and operate equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, video walls, and lighting systems. You will also learn how to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during events.
This is a full-time permanent role with expected progression to Technician.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for technology. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.

* Drive Results- Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
* Do the Right Thing- Complies with all Company security and safety measures.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
* Report all health and safety issues to the HSE Manager or Project Manager onsite.
* At times the technicians will work as part of a team on larger scale projects.

* Previous experience or education in live events and/or something AV related would be preferable.
