Due to increased work load and further secured works, our client with principal contractor status and an order book of over £3.2 billion is looking to add a Project Manager to the team
The position is a site based role but open to discussing a hybrid model and dependent on candidate location, subsistence is possible.
What you will be doing:
Manage a section of works on a day-to-day basis including the supervision/monitoring of the site team/supply chain.
Prepare sequencing drawings
Expected to drive programme and lead daily LEAN meetings
Plan, control and monitor the progress of the works and coordinate the section(s) of the project as allocated.
Manage multiple packages of work in conjunction with the commercial team taking full ownership of the costs for section of work assigned.
Ensure any changes in scope (operations, commercial, programme or design) are captured and managed.
Understand any temporary works requirements.
Undertake value engineering solutions.
Attend external meetings as required with clients and stakeholders, building effective relationships.
Administering the cost forecast, valuation and reporting systems.
Implement and attend weekly and monthly site meetings.
Ensure all site team and supply chain are working to the latest design information.
Undertake material take offs where required and ensure materials are ordered and reconciled.
