Band 5 - Salary Range £31,892 - £39,735 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum
A Relocation assistance of up to £8,000 is available
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for new or experienced mental health nurses to join our dynamic Community Mental health Team. We are looking for registered nurses RMN, who have experience and skills in community settings or crisis teams and who want to further develop in a remote and rural setting.
The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering best- practice, evidenced based interventions to individuals who require mental health support and treatment. They will have a sound working knowledge and understanding of current Mental Health policy and legislation. The post holder will undertake assessments of individual need; development, implementation and evaluation of individually planned care together with other members of the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies.
The post holder will be part of a team who provide both scheduled and unscheduled care which supports patients who require immediate input either at home or in acute settings. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential and experience of multi-agency working would be an advantage.
