This position will enable the successful applicant to develop their knowledge and skills in caring for critically ill adults within a highly supportive environment.
You will have a comprehensive induction programme depending on your previous experience supported by the unit's clinical educator and you will work with an experienced team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and other allied professionals.
This post will include shift work, consisting of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Main duties of the job
Working within a highly skilled, dynamic multi-disciplinary team, in our busy and energetic 13 bedded Adult Critical Care Unit, which accommodates both level 3 and level 2 patients. This is an excellent opportunity for energetic, enthusiastic staff nurses with at least 6 months acute experience, to provide a high standard of care to patients within a challenging, yet supportive acute hospital setting.
