Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team and assist in the accurate and timely processing of employee payments. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of payroll procedures.
Responsibilities
1. Process payroll data accurately and efficiently
2. Have experience using Xero
3. Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial records
4. Conduct data entry tasks with precision
5. Assist in accounts payable functions related to payroll
6. Analyse payroll reports for discrepancies and rectify errors promptly
Skills
1. Proficiency in using HRIS, PeopleSoft, or Workday software
2. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks
3. Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
4. Knowledge of human resources practices related to payroll
5. Ability to analyse payroll data effectively
