ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER

We are a long established very stable medical practice based at 4 Queen’s Road in the west end of Aberdeen. We are proud of our reputation for providing a friendly working environment in which to provide a high standard of clinical care to our list of around 9400 patients.
We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team. Full-time or Part-time hours will be considered. An independent prescribing qualification is essential.
The successful candidate will complement our team of highly motivated individuals and enhance the wide range of services we already provide. This is an exciting opportunity to help us to further develop our Duty Team which provides acute clinical care to our patients. You will be able to work autonomously and as part of the team. The role will include clinical assessment, prescribing and clinical decision making.
* GPs - 3 GP Partners (1 x 10 sessions, 1 x 8 sessions and 1 x 4 sessions) and 2 x 6-session salaried GP’s
* Excellent experienced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nursing, CTAC HCAs and Admin teams
* First Contact Physiotherapist, Pharmacotherapy Team, Psychological Therapist, Midwife and Primary Care Link Practitioner
* Undergraduate teaching of 5th year medical students
* Foundation Year 2 Doctors on 4-month placements
* Locality-based community nursing and health visiting teams
* Paperlight using Vision and Docman
