The Role:
Axcis is currently working with a secondary school in Southall that is seeking a Business Studies Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and confidence in teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons while fostering an environment that encourages student success. This is an exciting opportunity for someone enthusiastic about education and committed to helping students achieve their full potential. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to key decisions within the school and collaborate with senior leadership teams.
Duties:
1. Plan, teach, and deliver the Business Studies GCSE and A-Level curriculum.
2. Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to all levels of ability.
3. Manage classroom behaviour effectively and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Participate in Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, providing input on key school decisions.
5. Help create a supportive learning environment where students are motivated to excel.
6. Work collaboratively with staff to ensure the success of students across all subjects.
Requirements:
1. Right to work in the UK.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an overseas equivalent.
3. Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
4. Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE and A-Level in UK schools.
5. Passion for teaching, a positive attitude, and the willingness to go the extra mile to support students' growth.
