About the role: The Logistics Administrator is responsible for all administrative tasks within a very busy Customs Warehouse office. You will work regularly with warehouse, office, and management colleagues. The role requires effective communication, technically proficiency and an ability to accomplish time-sensitive tasks, promptly and on time. To succeed in the role, you must remain calm under pressure, be able to multi-task, and willing lend a hand when needed. A high level of accuracy and commitment is also required. The role is based at the Avonmouth office, working Monday to Friday. What you’ll be doing: Receive all inbound shipments into the company warehouse system, ensuring that detail is accurately reported Accurately document any exceptions to the receipt of product (damages/non-delivery/over-delivery) by liaising with the supplier via email or phone Arrange for delivery of orders directly with suppliers and/or hauliers Liaise with Ships and Agents to inform them of all deliveries and capture any changes to delivery dates Accurately document all outbound shipments to ensure customs approvals aren’t exceeded Ensure that all delivery paperwork is filed and stored correctly Provide administrative support to all areas within the office About you: Able to work on your own initiative and has exceptional team working skills Keen attention to detail, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure Analytical and numerical skills Effective communication skills Ideally have experience of working in a Customs Warehouse Ideally have experience of Using Microsoft Navision (NAV)/Business Central (or similar ERP) Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK Harding is an equal opportunities employer.
