Casual Key Holder (Weekends) (E6593) - Leodis Academies Trust
Salary: Equivalent to SCP26: £18.72 per hour plus holiday pay
Locations: Blackgates Primary Academy, Westerton Primary, Woodkirk Academy

Purpose of role
To undertake the role of casual key holder at sites across Leodis Academies Trust to facilitate lettings on weekends. You would be responsible for opening and locking up the premises, ensuring all appropriate security measures are in place.
Key Responsibilities
* To service lettings including opening of buildings and regular inspection of the premises whilst lettings are taking place.
* To assume responsibility for closing the site at the end of the letting, including an inspection of the premises to ensure that all doors, windows and other points of entry are properly secured and ensuring lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
* To operate CCTV/security equipment and other equipment when required in accordance with instructions.
* To maintain safe access and egress of paths and doorways in the event of snow and ice.
* To respond appropriately to security breaches and fire alarms activations.
General Duties
* To ensure that relevant Academy procedures and systems are effectively maintained.
* To be aware of, and comply with, policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection.
* To promote and ensure the health and safety of visitors at all times, in accordance with appropriate health and safety legislation.
* To attend and participate in staff meetings and briefings as appropriate.
* To undertake appropriate training and re-training as required for the role.
* To contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the school.
Special Conditions of Service
* There is a requirement to submit an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
