Who we are
Practi is building the FinTech for UK Healthcare. At a time when the healthcare landscape in the UK is changing rapidly, we're building solutions for both healthcare professionals, and patients, that increase access to healthcare for everyone.
54% of patients who attend a private medical clinic for an assessment consultation, then decide not to move forward, and our research tells us this either due to patient anxiety and/or affordability of the treatment.
Practi has built a platform that allows clinicians to give their patients a premium experience with educational treatment content to ease anxiety about moving forwards, with an embedded finance solution that allows patients to apply for finance to eliminate affordability as a barrier to receiving healthcare.
Practi is a corporate venture, proudly part of the Simplyhealth group (a purpose-driven B Corp), which means we have all the financial stability and industry expertise or an established player, but with the agility and autonomy of a start-up.
We're passionate about solving these issues for everyone, and whilst we've started in the Dental sector, we have big plans to expand across multiple healthcare verticals. We’ve got a world-class leadership team onboard, led by a successful serial entrepreneur, and we're actively building out the team as we begin to scale - come join us!
Who we're looking for
As we prepare to scale, we are seeking a Head of Commercial who will help to mature the business during this critical stage in its development. Reporting directly to the CEO and a member of the Practi leadership team, this is a high-profile and crucial role for us.
* Strategy Development - Define and refine the venture strategy alongside the CEO and Head of Product, making sure we remain focused on the biggest value pools aligned to our strengths and interfacing with Simplyhealth Group as necessary
* Commercial Strategy - Coordinate key commercial topics, including pricing, and provide strategic input to Practi’s Go-To-Market strategy as required
* Performance Metrics - Collaborate with the Practi leadership team to establish and design key metrics of success for the venture, developing mechanisms to measure and analyse these successes
* Stakeholder Management - Lead critical stakeholder relations within the Simplyhealth Group businesses on behalf of the venture, particularly within Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Strategy functions
* Partnership Management - Maintain and lead relationships with key partners and vendors (such as payments platforms, lenders, regulatory and compliance advisors), conducting strategic reviews to ensure the venture remains poised for success
* Financial Planning - Work closely with the venture’s finance business partner to refine the 5-year financial model for the venture, integrating this into quarterly and annual financial reporting processes
* Venture Planning Cadence – Run and refine the venture-wide quarterly/annual planning cadence, inc. development and monitoring of OKRs, to ensure we are executing at pace
* Governance and Reporting - Manage the preparation of materials for key venture governance and funding activities alongside the Practi CEO. This includes quarterly financial reporting, Board Meetings, and investment requests
* Define Operational Success - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge operational success and guide data-driven decision-making, in close collaboration with the Practi Operations Leader and broader Ops team that will report to this role
* Operational Oversight - Provide thought-partnership, coaching and oversight to the Operations Lead as they enhance our customer onboarding process, customer service, regulatory and financial operations
