Manual Machinist
Robertson Recruitment are looking for a manual machinists with knowledge in the injection moulding sector. The candidate must also have experience of using milling/turning/grinding equipment to produce precision parts.
Manual Machinist working hours
Hours can be flexible and the client would also be open to someone working part time. If not it will be 39 hours a week working a day shift pattern.
Manual Machinist duties
1. Servicing, cleaning and maintenance of injection moulding tools
2. Responsible for making, maintaining cleaning and repairing precision tools and parts
3. Working with a variety of materials including metals, alloys, plastics and ceramics
4. Collaborate on existing projects producing parts and fixtures for new or prototype machinery
5. To work to the standards required by the company, customer base, BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standard) and FDA (Food & Drugs Administration USA) and to meet legal requirements.
6. Follow and create engineering drawings to measure and mark out the design for parts/projects as appropriate for later reference.
