A primary school in the York area is looking for an Administrator (Admin) / School Receptionist to work in the reception area of the school. The full-time role would begin in January 2025 and will run until at least the Easter break, in the first instance.
It is essential that you have had previous school experience and have experience working alongside children and adults. You will be offered training and shown all relevant procedures. The working hours coincide with school opening times.
Applications without previous working experience in a school will not be considered.
To be considered for the school admin role, you must:
1. Have experience working within a school office / reception area
2. Be computer literate
3. Be able to deal quickly and effectively with queries
4. Liaise professionally and in a timely fashion with colleagues
5. Work closely with the office manager
6. Work on the switchboard
