We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Long Lartin, a category A Prison located in Littleton.
HMP Long Lartin is a male prison serving life sentences with a capacity for 690 inmates. Not well situated so you would need to drive.
Hours
Shift patterns would be a mixture of days (9 and 12 hour shifts) and Weekends on a rota basis - hours per week.
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £30,660per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
1. Provide outstanding quality based patient centred care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. Focussing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
2. Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards. Involving anything from the timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy.
3. Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, our partners and stakeholders and providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within and feel proud of.

11. NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
12. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
13. Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
14. Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
15. General GCSE education or equivalent
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
