Join our Midlands Fostering Service as a Supervising Social Worker where you will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible. This Northamptonshire based position will support our foster families within our expanding service, offering work-from-home flexibility. Occasional travel to our Bromsgrove office will be required for team meetings. Your day will be varied. You can follow a flexible structure whilst supporting our foster carers, holding realistic caseloads, and providing a high level of supervision, monitoring, and intervention. You will work within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice. You will have the opportunity to complete Form F Assessments, be part of our Children & Young people’s participation and strategy events and be part of our out-of-hours service, where you will support our foster carers on a rota basis. For newly qualified social workers, you will have access to the ASYE programme, formal CHARMS training as well as access to our peer and group clinical supervision provided by a qualified psychologist; you will have opportunities to integrate with our clinical, educational and residential services, we like to promote from within so you will have access to career progression opportunities. Hours Our full-time hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9:00 am -5:00 pm and Fridays 9:00 am – 4:30 pm The role is full-time over five days per week.
