Join one of the biggest acute hospitals trusts in the country! We have an opportunity for a Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join the Neuro Rehabilitation Outreach team. Base location to be decided, depending upon the successful applicant across Boston and Louth. This is a countywide post so there will be an expectation to travel primarily on the east of the County. The successful applicant will undertake evidence-based and holistic Physiotherapy interventions to support patients to self-manage long-term neurological conditions or following recent neurological events/relapses and provide therapeutic interventions to support patients to maximise their potential.
The successful candidate will be supported by highly skilled and experienced physiotherapists as well as have opportunities for professional development and supervision. The successful candidate must be flexible, innovative, highly motivated and above all be committed to improving the care and assessment of people within the neuro-rehabilitation outreach specialty.

Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of Physiotherapy assessment & interventions to people who have a neurological condition and are experiencing difficulties. Working together with the individual, to assess needs, agree goals, implement intervention plans and evaluate progress. Working with other members of the MDT to ensure comprehensive, holistic assessment and treatment plans.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
* Diploma / degree in Physiotherapy
* Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Evidence of maintained CPD in a portfolio including attendance at relevant post-graduate courses
* 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above including English Language and Maths
Desirable
* Membership of the CSP
* Involvement in a special interest group (e.g. ACPIN)
* Evidence of neuro-specific courses
* Basic Management Training
Experience
Essential
* Proven experience as a physiotherapist in a variety of NHS clinical areas, including experience in the treatment of long-term neurological conditions (may include stroke patients)
* Experience of working as part of a team/MDT
* Good theoretical knowledge with working knowledge of a broad range of conditions
* Student or assistant supervision, contributing to education
Desirable
* Knowledge of the workings of the community services and intermediate care services
* Involvement in audit, research and understanding quality issues
Skills
Essential
* Knowledge of CSP guidelines, Trust policies & procedures understanding the legal responsibilities of the role
* Understanding clinical governance & its implications for the service
* Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written skills along with clear, logical presentation skills. Able to write complex reports correctly in clear and legible English.
