About the role
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:
o Implementation and communication of Environmental Strategy within Offshore Wind
o Greater understanding of European and UK Environmental legislation and guidance
o Working for a Global organisation with a local interface
o Support continual environmental improvement and improve sustainability goals
o Develop intimate knowledge of ISO standards
o Develop understanding of the interaction with health and safety
* Actively support the team with:
o Project-based tasks
o Standardisation of HSE management documents
o Working cross-functionally with all Operational Wind Sites, other departments, and external contractors
o Data analyses and associated software and tools
o Communication, presentation, and liaising with management and the Strategy
Job requirements and experience
* You’re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses:
o Occupational H&S or Environmental Studies
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* On track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher
* Very good verbal and written communication skills
* Able to coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines
* Comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders

Advantageous, but not essential
* Knowledge of Management systems and/or ISO standards
* Salary of £24.5k per year and a generous employee pension scheme

* Receive additional training including Global Wind Organization Certificate and Wind Turbine Safety Rules Training
