Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team on a 3-month contract. This role can be hybrid with 3 days based in the office and will support the day-to-day finance operations, helping to ensure the smooth running of our accounts processes during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing supplier invoices and reconciling purchase ledger accounts
* Raising customer invoices and allocating payments
* Supporting the month-end process, including bank reconciliations
* Maintaining accurate financial records and updating internal systems
* Assisting with credit control and resolving client or supplier queries
* Supporting the Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts support role
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Comfortable working with numbers and confident using Excel
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
* Track record of working in a fast passed environment
Bonus if you have:
* Experience using web based accounting and operating software
* Familiarity with eCommerce or logistics sectors
