Role: Business Development Manager
Salary: £40,000-£52,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

The Role:
1. New business development of targeted accounts - prospect, develop & nurture
2. Forecast business in line with Company requirements
3. Plan time effectively and schedule virtual and in-person meetings at the necessary cadence
4. Develop, establish, and maintain strong relationships with internal departments
5. Gain and maintain a high level of the client's brands portfolio product knowledge to understand comparative positioning and knowledge of what we need to do to win within the Kitchen Channel and communicate feedback from the Channel internally
6. Maintain awareness of market trends, dynamics, and competitor activity
7. Manage administration of accounts and the role efficiently
8. Ensure brand consistency
9. Negotiate contracts
10. Collect and analyse sales data and trends
11. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards
12. Work with the Marketing department to set and implement strategies for new products
Requirements:
1. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
2. Able to influence & persuade people and to create compromise and agreement
3. Attention to detail and a creative and intuitive approach to problem-solving
4. Resilient, confident & tenacious
5. Excellent time management, organisational and analytical skills
