Job Description:
The Photon Science Institute (PSI) was established to foster interdisciplinary collaborations and to maximise the potential applications of photon science. With a comprehensive leading laser and spectroscopy infrastructure, PSI delivers high quality fundamental and applied research, accessible postgraduate education, tailored industrial training and forges strong business relationships by disseminating its knowledge and expertise.
This role provides high level Executive Assistant and administrative support to the Director of the Photon Science Institute, as well as wider support across the PSI and Royce Facilities team. You will take a key supporting role in the day-to-day running of the PSI building, working proactively with members of the academic and professional services staff as well as supporting on-site events and meetings.
You will have experience of working in a clerical/reception customer service environment, along with excellent organisational and time management skills. You will need good communication skills and the ability to work with students, staff and external collaborators, giving a professional view of the Institute. * Exceptional starting annual leave entitlement, plus bank holidays
