Why this role is important?
SUMMARY:
To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maximizes sales and awareness of promotional programs.
2. Possesses a “selling is fun” attitude.
3. Promotes sales of beauty products.
4. Encourages customers to participate in the PC Optimum program.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
1. Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers.
2. Always put the Customer first and provide superior customer service.
3. Actively model the desired behavior with eClienteling to provide superior customer service.
4. Promote products through marketing and encourage use of the PC Optimum program.
5. Actively promote and book appointments for in-store events.
OPERATIONS:
1. Exhibit and promote the company’s products and services.
2. Attend workshop/education sessions.
3. Adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards.
GENERAL:
1. Comply with all health and safety regulations.
2. Comply with all store policies and procedures.
3. Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensure they are executed in the department.
4. Act professionally at all times.
5. Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Planning, Judgment and Decision Making.
2. Independent thinking and decisions.
3. Selling skills in Cosmetics.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Proven consultative skills to provide information.
2. Selling experience with a proven track record.
3. A good knowledge of various beauty products and services available.
4. Ability to conduct sit-down makeup and skincare consultations and demonstrate application.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
2. Ability to climb ladder.
3. Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves.
