SIL Full Time Disability Support Home Lead
Wallsend, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW
* Location: Wallsend or Cameron Park
* 76 hours per fortnight, with a combination of support shifts and administration work
* Hands-on training, development and mentoring with an inclusive Organisation.

Supported Independent Living
As a SIL provider, Songbird offers disability accommodation and daily life assistance so that participants can achieve as much independence as possible. We provide 24/7 supported living homes throughout the Hunter region, including Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and beyond!

Do you have?
* A Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care, or be enrolled in your second year of study towards your higher qualification in a relevant field (required)
* 1 years’ experience within the Health, Care and/or Disability industry (required) (behaviours and mental health experience preferred)
Demonstrated leadership capability:
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
* Team-focused approach
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Experience working with participants that have both behavioural and medical needs
* A Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (required)
* NDIS Worker Screen Check (required)
* Valid Australian Driver Licence (Red Provisional – minimum) (required).
