Job Vacancy: Activities Coordinator
Location : Princess Christian Care Home, Woking Surrey GU21 2SJ
Contracted hours : 30 hours per week, 9.30am – 4pm 5 days per week (to include some weekend work)
(Hourly) rate of pay : Starting at £11.50

The Activities Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
* Organising and planning weekly activity programmes (within allocated budget) reflecting residents’ preferences, and producing a written rota. Updating activities boards around the home.
* Creating risk assessments for activities and consent forms for families/residents.
* Producing newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities, and liaising with the Marketing team in typing up activities and producing information for newsletters.
* Supporting residents to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype, and FaceTime.
* Maintaining skills at a current level and undertaking training and development as required to progress knowledge.
