This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in composite materials and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective operation of the production line, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What will you be doing? Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines. Coordinate with the supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the company's stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed. Process Optimization: Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement, increased efficiency, and cost reduction. Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary changes to improve workplace safety. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the production budget, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management. Technology and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in composite manufacturing technologies and methodologies. Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and processes that enhance production capabilities. What do we need from you? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred, or the equivalent in relevant industrial experience. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production management role within the composite manufacturing industry. Proven track record of leading and managing production teams in a fast-paced environment. Skills: Strong knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
