C & D Foods is one of Europe's leading Own Label Pet food manufacturers producing a range of Wet and Dry Pet foods. C & D Foods has 7 production facilities across 6 Countries (Ireland, Denmark, Austria, Spain, The Netherlands and the UK) and 2 sales offices (Germany and Italy). Our Driffield site it located in East Yorkshire, and is one of the major producers of dry Petfood for the business. We are seeking a skilled, proactive and enthusiastic Training Co-Ordinator to work in our Hygiene department. Reporting to the HR manager the Training & Development Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the site training matrix and ensuring all site staff have the relevant training to ensure they do their jobs in a safe and effective manner. Due to the complexity of our customer base, we are a highly audited site and therefore must be continually compliant with Customer Codes of Practice, Technical Policies and Standards in addition to maintaining our BRCGS Accreditation. Primary Objectives: 1. Timely and accurate reporting to HR Manager as well as site & Group Management. 2. Collaborate with site supervisors and department heads to identify training needs and develop targeted training plans to address skill gaps. 3. Ensure all training records and the site training matrix is updated with the correct information, ensuring alignment with the company goals, industry standard and compliance. 4. Complete a gap analysis on training monthly to enable proactive measures to close any training noncompliance. 5. Coordinate the training program for new hires. 6. Present training matrix, files, and overall training function to external auditors. 7. Design, deliver, and evaluate training and upskilling programs to be delivered in house. 8. Coordinate training sessions and workshops, both internally and with external training providers, ensuring logistical arrangements and participant engagement. 9. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, performance evaluations, and key performance indicators. 10. Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees, acting as the primary contact for training-related inquiries and career development opportunities. 11. Stay abreast of company trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in training and development, incorporating relevant updates into training materials and methodologies. 12. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the company, promoting the value of training and development initiatives. 13. Work with the HR Manager to ensure the annual training budget is controlled and measured.
