University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust is seeking an experienced professional to join us as the Head of Emergency Planning and Operational Resilience (EPRR). In this role, you will lead and manage the Trust's emergency preparedness, resilience, and response agenda. You will ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maintain robust incident and business continuity plans. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and advising the Chief Operating Officer / Accountable Executive Officer (AEO), you will guide strategic decisions and drive improvements in our emergency preparedness and resilience capabilities. Main duties of the job We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of emergency planning frameworks, national and local guidelines, and a proven track record in crisis response. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the Trust is always prepared for any eventuality. The ideal candidate will have a relevant Master's degree or equivalent experience, a Diploma in Emergency Planning, and significant expertise in emergency planning and business continuity management. You should have excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to influence and motivate at all levels.
