Job Title: Ecumenical Youth Ministry Location: RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom Duties: The program shall have Christ-centered content and be structured so that youth will meet, learn, and grow in spiritual and ethical values, character building, social issues awareness, and lifestyle choices. The Applicant shall ensure all activities are coordinated through the RAFL/RAFM Wing Chaplains. The Applicant shall provide for the Middle School (6-8th grades) and High School (9-12th grades) ministry and direction, adult leader development and training, parent support group coordination, planning meetings, reports, school leadership training retreats and camps in support of the RAFL/RAFM communities. An annual calendar of events to establish planning. A core curriculum consisting of social, ethical, and religious topics to develop life skills. Appropriate advertising of weekly, monthly and special events. Properly screen and train adult and youth leaders. Create and maintain a database of parents/participants. Summer youth events. Ongoing leadership training. Qualifications: Must have a Baccalaureate Degree (in any field). Copies of the degree and transcripts must be provided. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience working directly with youth in established youth organizations. A resume of education/experience AND two professional letters of reference per applicant must be provided. Applicants must write and speak English fluently. Applicants must be able to effectively communicate in English in professional and casual settings. Applicants must have a functional working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, and basic financial record-keeping skills. Operating Hours: Average of 20-40 working hours per week.
