Job description
Job purpose:
* To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Central Placements team, including specific assistance to the Funding and Service panels.
* To support other panel administrators and Business Support Officers as needed to ensure seamless operation within the Social Care and Health departments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Ensuring all funding approvals are up-to-date.
* Receiving referrals and paperwork for panels, ensuring timely copying and circulation to panel members in accordance with each panel's Terms of Reference.
* Providing advance schedules of panel dates and cases to be reviewed to care managers and social work team managers for proper staff availability.
* Ensuring all paperwork and actions from panel decisions are communicated to responsible officers promptly, professionally, and efficiently.
* Following through on required actions, such as updating social care reporting systems/databases with placement Service Agreements and tasks.
* Maintaining computerised or manual systems with details of services commissioned and providers, ensuring accurate financial and care records are kept.
* Participating in a rota of panel support with other administrators, covering for sickness and annual leave as necessary.
Requirements:
* At least two years’ experience of general office administration.
* Experience of working in a stressful and pressurised environment.
* Ability to set up and maintain computerised information systems effectively, including spreadsheets and database systems.
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively and methodically.
* Ability to work both individually and as part of the team.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
