SES are currently looking for a Regional Managing Director to join the SES Board and lead the newly formed Central Business. About The Role Reporting to the Executive SES Managing Director, the Regional Managing Director will lead the strategic and operational functions of the SES Central region. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven ability to drive business growth, enhance team performance, and optimize operational efficiency. As chair of the regional board, the Regional Managing Director will collaborate closely with senior management to develop and execute strategies that align with the company’s overall goals, ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, including customer strategy, marketing, product development, commercial, pre-construction, and operations, to ensure that customer strategies are integrated and aligned with business objectives. As the Regional Managing Director, some of the key responsibilities will include: Develop and execute the regional business strategy, aligning with the company's vision to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. Oversee daily operations, manage financial performance, and optimize resources to meet operational and budgetary targets. Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, while cultivating strong client and stakeholder relationships. Monitor market trends, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with other regional leaders and functions to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced leader with a strong background in business leadership, divisional or general management, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive business integration and performance. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required, with an MBA preferred. This individual should possess exceptional leadership and people management abilities, with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams. They will also have strong financial acumen, experience managing budgets and financial reporting, and excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in business management software and Microsoft Office is essential, along with a commitment to promoting and upholding SES culture and values, empowering and motivating staff to ensure engagement and success.
