The Product Manager will be responsible for innovation, helping to shape and deliver the Insurer product strategy, and guiding the product development lifecycle. We aim to utilise the latest in technology to provide an exceptional experience for our insurers and brokers across all the points of the underwriting journey from price calculation to real time policy fulfilment.
In this role, you will be the champion of Insurer and ensure our products and services match our vision and our organisation’s passion to serve our customers, deliver against their needs and help them to be successful. Translating strategy into product vision & product objectives, you will build and own the Insurer roadmap.
Your key responsibilities
* Develop a vision, strategy, and roadmap based on stakeholder input, customer feedback, market research, and industry trends.
* Leverage the latest technology to create new customer solutions.
* Monitor product and market performance.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and set timelines.
* Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify trends, needs, and opportunities.
* Continuously analyze KPIs to optimize products.
* Develop creative solutions using new technologies.
* Coordinate product launches and marketing activities.
* Create business cases with cost-benefit analysis, revenue projections, and ROI calculations.
* Work with senior management, marketing, sales, finance, and support to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
* Identify product benefits and value for marketing plans and collateral.
* Manage the full product lifecycle to meet market needs and maintain high quality.
* Act as a subject matter expert, setting processes and coaching team members.
* Support other business teams to leverage customer advocacy and drive growth.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience
* Strong product background with experience of an Agile working environment
* An insurance/broking background
* Creating and managing product roadmaps
* Working with cross-functional teams
* Developing business cases, conducting market research, and competitive analysis
